New Forest National Park Volunteer Fair
Nearly 750 would-be volunteers met with more than 50 organisations at the free-to-attend New Forest National Park Volunteer Fair in Brockenhurst on 25 January 2026.
The annual event has welcomed more than 5,700 people throughout its decade-and-a-half long history and is an opportunity for people to meet likeminded individuals from the National Park and its surrounding areas.
With offers to suit all ages, interests, and abilities – from active tasks like improving footpaths and heathland restoration to home-based roles including archiving and social media – the Volunteer Fair brings together stalls, information, and friendly faces to help people find their next voluntary opportunity.
New Routes to Nature – supporting volunteering in the New Forest – has been made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players.
