Corporate volunteering

Help us restore and enhance the New Forest through invasive-species control, path improvement works and a range of other tasks.

Volunteering with the National Park Authority gives your employees time in nature, boosting mental and physical wellbeing while contributing to meaningful improvements to the landscape.

We run full day and half day sessions throughout the year. Tasks will depend on the season and our active priorities for the year.

National Park Authority staff will welcome you, introduce the site and supervise during the task. All training, tools and equipment are provided but we would advise wearing scruffy clothes, sturdy footwear, and a waterproof coat.

NPA staff are first aid trained and will have first aid kits, but you remain legally responsible for your employees during the task and may wish to create a risk assessment and put safety measures in place.

To cover costs, we ask that you combine your visit with a financial contribution between £300 to £500. We’ll spend this on tool replacement and maintenance, buying personal protective equipment and staffing costs. Donate – New Forest National Park Authority (newforestnpa.gov.uk)
